Work In Progress
I love a good process photo not to mention the process. Pushing the bounds of what a material, mineral, clay, or ceramic process can do when exposed to heat and material combinations that often yield some really cool and beautiful responses. Sometimes it is amazing and other times it wrecks my kiln shelves.
Included here are lots of project images and notes from in my studio; step-by-step photos documenting a work as it progresses and leads me forward. This is expressed with a deep appreciation of and attention to the principles and elements of design and my love of materiality, abstract expressionism, and contemporary ceramics. This is a journal of my personal exploration of all these things.
